Some people get bored of going to the same place over and over again. Orlando is one of those cities that will NEVER get old for me. Many of the fondest moments of my entire life are kept in this tacky touristy city and I love it. Today Steph went and babysat in the morning, which is great because it's allowing her to integrate life tasks back into her routine. I went for a run on Bayshore (I had to drag Dolly, btw. That dog is getting laaaazy) and Steph did her interval training in the gym. We check on each other and work out together once or twice a week but I really hate the gym and Steph really hates being outside so we have parted ways a little bit in the exercise realm because, let's face it, if you absolutely HATE a particular exercise you will never keep it up.
At around 5PM we headed out to Orlando. Rich and I hit up Universal for a few rides and Steph hung out at the outlets down the street. She was kind enough to allow me to talk her into going to Passage to India, for which I had a restaurant.com coupon. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Indian food, particularly the super spicy kind. Steph was apprehensive about the cuisine but she finally caved. I was very proud of her. She ordered chicken biryani, which is a chicken, rice, veggies, and spices concoction and the portion was huge. She promptly took a third of the serving on to a separate plate and pushed the rest to the side, asking for a to-go box. Way to go Steph!

Which brings me to a tip...

Order a to-go box WITH your meal. Do not wait until you are done eating! The reasons are as follows 1.) You will be tempted to eat more than a reasonable portion. 2.) If you wait to ask for your box, the server ALWAYS takes too long and you end up taking four, five, six, etc. more bites than you would have if you had been able to box up your food when you first had an inkling to get the food out of site.
After dinner, we headed over to Orange Lake for the hot tub and dive-in movie. They were showing
Gnomeo and Juliet by the pool. Too cute.
We are gearing up to kick the Fourth of July's butt; booty camp style. First, we are going to run down Bayshore in our red, white, and blue bikini tops. Then we are going to make red and blue sugar-free jello shots. Finally, we are going to pack up our 1-point hot dogs and patriotic fruit salad to the beach! God bless America!
