Ever feel like you don't have enough time in a day?
I swear to you, I wake up, go to work, eat and sleep.
I am having a hard time fitting in working out.
I know it isn't an excuse and I probably sound like a lazy ass.
But, the last thing I want to do when getting home from the hospital everyday is work out. i have been bending, lifting and pushing patients all day long. I feel like that is my work out! Haha. But, my food choices suck. They need to keep me away from the cafeteria. But a ban on me, and not allow me in there. I might start a riot or a food fight or something in there, so I get permanently banned...but then I would lose my job too, so that really is not going to work. :( Haha.
Yesterday, I went to the gym with my dear Nicole, but what did I do after? I ate. Confession: Buffalo Chicken calzone with grilled shrimp. Yes, the shrimp was grilled but the chicken wasn't. Lord knows how many points that was. I need some help and motivation to stick to a diet plan.
Who has some suggestions on what to eat? Yummy non fattening things? :)

As always, heres me working out:
This is me with 8lb weights...I do sqauts, then punches left to right everytime I come up from a squat!
Arms out, side to side. Lift them from my side, to shoulder length and repeat.
Doing pushups on the squats bar. Can't do them on the floor quite yet. This is a great workout though!
This exercise, is one knee on the bench, with the weight on the ground you pick it up, and pull your arm up to your side, then back to the floor and repeat. :)
I also did the butt work out machine, but those photos are not being publicized :)

I eat almonds all the time. They are really filling and give you lots of energy!!! Also hard boiled eggs (if you like them). And if you have something that is boring, hot sauce!!!! Spicy food speeds up your metabolism (along with ice water). Btw, I got P90X so if you have a day to yourself, come try it!!!!! So insane!!!! Love you beautiful :)
Hey!! I find it helpful to plan my meals for the entire day the night before... I usually snack thought the whole day so always make sure lots of fruits, hard boiled eggs, slices of deli turkey, french vanilla activia yogurt (soooo yummy, esp w pineapple chunks mixed in), granola bars, raisins or dried cranberries. Make certain swaps, for example, when you have a sandwich easy just one slice of the bread like an open face sandwich, or if you are a sucker for naked goods try vitamuffins in the freezer section of the store, instead of normal pasta try shiratake noodles (which are made of tofu) and add sauce, if you want chocolate have some in the form of home-made chocolate dipped fruit, if you crave a bagel ask them to scrape out the inside (out do out yourself), also the weight watcher candy bar ice creams are soooooo freaking good, only eat sweet potatoes (mashed, baked or fried), if youre craving chicken nuggets go to the store and buy a bag of bocca or qorn vegetarian chickn nuggets which are healthy than mcd's, when building your plate always eat all of the healthiest thing first and the least healthy thing last, never finish everything on your plate, if yore gonna be going out for foods our drinks research where you are going quickly and determine what you are flying to east before you get there - tell your friend/family ahead of time and have them order for you. Buy several kashi frozen dinners and various soups you can eat in a rush during the week. But above all my two most important tips are: (1) go to the gym when you are scheduled to, even if you promise yourself that you can just walk in and walk right back out, you'll quickly find that the hardest part of going is actually getting there... Once youre there, I bet you'll end up doing something. (2) when you make mistakes, and you will make mistakes, we all do... Don't beat yourself up our allow it to spiral, take control the very next chance and don't look back.
